Working to 'wash away' animal suffering by knitting dishcloths for animal rescue.

The Dishcloth Damsel is a HUGE supporter of not just our rescue, but of rescues all around the city. Proceeds from all sales are given to the rescue to help with our never ending battle to stop the over-population.

Beautiful stained glass suncatchers and panels. Words can’t do them justice, you’ll have to come down and see in person just how amazing they are.

Lori Anderson is the artist behind Jazzy Girl Glassworks.  She was raised in Winnipeg, and currently resides in Selkirk with her partner and their trio of dogs. 

Her glasswork journey began in 2018 when she took her first class, and she has been hooked ever since.  Creating has always been a passion of Lori’s, along with animals, gardening, and antiques.  These are all themes you will see often in her work.

 Come in and say hi to Krista, the maker behind Sippin’ Pretty. She is a huge animal lover who creates eco-friendly soy wax candles, wax melts, and stylish tumblers designed to spark nostalgia and everyday joy. 

You might recognize Josee’s work from our shelter. She painted the front mural when you walk in the doors with all the cats. But, she also makes faux sweets and foods of all kinds. From fake cakes to ramen noodles, her creations are mostly made into trinket boxes and make the most unique gifts, great for decor and photo props,

Sassy, saucy and slightly inappropriate. Dirty Dishes was started in November of 2024 by Chantalle.  She was inspired by the amount of collectable plates sitting in thrift stores that nobody wanted and the need to repurpose them so that they wouldn't end up in landfills. Her sense of humour has been allowed to flourish when matching sayings to the plates and she loves watching the looks on people's faces as they read them!
