Hi, my name is Puffin but my foster mom and brother call me Puffie or Puffs. Fun fact, I actually respond to my name being called! When I was born, my foster mom knew my name had to be Puffin because my belly was so chonky.

I love running around, playing, wrestling, and snuggle sleep with my brother, Loon. I love all toys, especially wand toys, scratchers, springs, and pompoms. I love to snuggle my fosters humans feet at bed time. During the day, I prefer my naps in the window hammock either by myself or with another cat. I love belly rubs on my own terms but you will for sure know when I love it as I kick my leg up. I am a very happy boy and often you can get a purr out of me just by lookin at me!

I recently found my voice and love to chitty chat, especially when I'm hungry. I have a good appetite, great litter box manners (I lovvvvve to scratch the sides of my lidded litter box, you know, just to extra announce that I have been a big boy) and I love to drink water from my water fountain. I have never met young children or dogs before, though I am sure we would get along great if they respect my boundaries. I would love to live in a forever home with another pet, I currently live with a few cats and I really love their company and play time.

Hi there, my name is Loon. My foster family also calls me Loonie! If you are looking for a sweet affectionate snuggle bug kitty, I'm your guy! I find the silliest ways to sleep, anywhere anytime! I love sleeping either by myself or snuggling with a human or with another cat in my current home. 

I love lots of different toys and, honestly, I don't think I have found a toy I haven't liked or something that I can't make a toy out of! My mom has taught me to carry a pompom around and trill for the other cats to come play too. I love to play in my cat tower, watch the birds in the window hammock, scratch my scratchers, or lounge in one of many forts my family has for us cats. I love belly rubs too and will purr away.

I have a good appetite, great litter box manners ( I work for free here as my human foster mom's litter box cleaning supervisor as I have to observe her doing a perfect job), and I love to drink water from my water fountain. I have never met young children or dogs before, though I am sure we would get along great if they respect my boundaries. I would love to live in a forever home with another pet, I currently live with a few cats and I really love their company and play time.

If you are looking for a snuggle bug stage 4 clinger, Maroon is the little fellow for you!

Maroon wants nothing more than to snuggle up in a pouch on your chest. Overalls and baby slings also work if you can't wear a hoodie backwards. If ignored, he will reach out for pets and won't stop until he gets a cuddle. The only thing he loves more than affection is spring toys. (The only time you will hear him growl is for spring toys.)

He will happily eat both wet and dry food but has a bit of a sensitive tummy. Bit of a gassy guy. Even so he is very comfortable in new environments. Great for car rides as long as he can see you and even then he'll reach out for pets. Also great for nail trimming.

Maroon absolutely needs to be adopted either with a friend or into a family with other cats. He has tried to befriend every creature he's met so far.

An adventure kitty in training!

Vermillion  LOVES any toy with feathers but a wand with feathers is his favorite. He is also a big fan of watching the computer monitor and will hunt for the cursor on the screen. Once he is tuckered out, he'll hop onto your shoulder for some head butts and nose licks.

He is an energetic guy that does fine on long car rides but makes it very clear that he does NOT like to be locked up in a cage. Zero problems going to new places. He has started harness training, which has gone extremely well! Enjoys wet food but will eat dry as well, just make sure that if you have a cat water fountain he can't pull any pieces off. Fine for nail trimming if he is sleepy.

Vermillion is the kind of guy that needs to get to know you before he is comfortable enough to snuggle up on your chest and shoulders. But once he decides that you are his person, he'll be ready to join you anywhere.

This sweet little girl came to us quite tiny from a colony of 50+ cats. She came in with her sister, Nevada. 

She was a little spitfire at first, but is now very easy going.  She is now fully litter box trained.  She is a great hunter of any flies that come into the house.  Pitch and her best buddy Nevada love their toys and playing Kitty UFC.  She especially likes to empty her toy bin and play inside of it.  She is fine with other cats and she is untested with dogs.

From the Smelly Cat Fam, Nutty certainly lives up to his name. Him and his two orange brothers are the best types of kittens. Playful, curious, adventurous, and cuddly at night. He has a cute white muzzle and his nose is white and has matching socks.

He loves Friskies treats and his canned food. Favorite toys are his plastic springs, soft fuzzy balls and tents. He loves his morning zoomies and dropping toys in the water bowl.

He has not met dogs or small children but would be okay with slow introductions.

Nutty also had two older foster brothers and he loves playing and snuggling with them. He can be found sleeping on them or his brothers.

Belize and her siblings came into rescue after their feral mama was found living outside. Mama has officially finished her job raising this adorable crew, and now it’s Belize’s turn to find a family of her very own! 💕

Belize is a beautiful, sweet-natured girl who may take a little time to feel comfortable in a new environment. She can be shy at first, but with a little patience and a feline friend by her side, she’ll come out of her shell in no time.

Once she’s settled in, Belize is a curious little explorer who loves checking out every corner of the house. When she’s not busy investigating her surroundings, you’ll often find her curled up into the tiniest perfect ball, catching some zzz’s.

She is incredibly sweet and easygoing, getting along wonderfully with her housemates. Even when another cat isn’t particularly interested in making friends, Belize is respectful of their space and doesn’t cause a fuss.

Belize would thrive in a loving home with another friendly cat to help her feel confident and comfortable. She does chirp when she cant find her friends. She may need a little patience while she settles in, but her sweet personality makes her an absolutely wonderful companion. ❤️

Hello, my name is Madden but my foster family calls me Maddy. I came into care from an outdoor colony as a tiny, scared, very pregnant sweet girl. It took me some time to get used to being inside and around humans but now I'm happy to report that it's actually pretty great.

My foster mom says I am such a great attentive mommy to my two precious ginger babies (Puffin and Loon). I am now feeling the urge to find my forever home and live my best life as a free spirit gal while I continue to develop and show off my personality in my forever home. I am quite shy with new people, but I am working on it. I have even recently started play wrestling with the resident chubby cat. I love to lounge in the sun in my window hammock and cat trees. I also enjoy snuggling with my teenage foster human brother or zooming around the house. My absolute favourite thing to do is carry a pom pom or spring in my mouth while trilling for the other cats to come play. Then I love to bat my toys around. 

I have great litter box manners. I get along with other cats and would love to have a playmate, though I would happily settle for humans who will be patient, loving, and playful with me. I have not yet met a dog, but if I was to live with one, they have to be cat savvy. I have not been around young children and, honestly, I think their fast movements may startle me as I am still on my journey to feeling comfortable indoors with humans. 

I have a good appetite, I like to graze my food, and I absolutely love treats such as tube treats or temptation treats.

Nettle is a sweet boy that loves to know what’s going on while not being totally in the mix (yet). Just 8 weeks ago, he was living outdoors with his mom & siblings. He has be coming around slowly, but surely! We know there is an absolute total love bug inside of him, and everyday he is showing us more and more of it. 

When you arrive at the shelter, Nettle may start out shy. But don’t let this stop you from giving him a chance if you feel a connection. He is a great kitty. 

He loves both his wet & dry food, he loves pets and chin scritchies and has purrfect litter box manners. 

He enjoys play time, other cats, and of course treats! 

Due to being shy, younger loud children may not be ideal for him, but older should be just fine. 

He has not met other dogs besides seeing one run down the hall at the shelter. He was curious but again, due to being a bit shy, a dog that’s going to run up into his face wouldn’t be ideal, but a calmer dog, I feel he would adjust well to and even become friends with time!

Dandelion is a sweet little lady who just 8 weeks ago was living outdoors with his mom & siblings. She built a lot of confidence in her foster home and her amazing foster mama who spent time socializing her - but it was time for her to let other kitties continue to bring her out of her shell at the adoption centre! There’s some things we just can’t do as hoomans that cats can. So far, it’s working great! 

When you enter a room, Dandelion will usually be out and about, but as you get closer she starts to question if she wants to stay and find out what’s going to happen, or retreat to her safe space. She now watched the other kitties in the room, and if they stay, she stays. 💞 

Going to a home with a friend/sibling or another kitty in the household will be a must for her as she trusts them more than she trusts us. 

You can often find Dandelion watching over our volunteers and cleaners ensuring everything everything is done correctly and to her likings. 

She enjoys cheek and neck scritches and once she realizes nothing bad will happen, she will roll over and enjoy the attention you’re providing her. 

Due to being shy, younger loud children may not be ideal for him, but older should be just fine. She hasn’t met dogs but if hyper likely wouldn’t do great atm. With time and continued socializing this may change! 

Please don’t let her original shyness of strangers prevent you from giving her a chance. When she settles with her forever family and has all the time in the world to blossom into herself, you’ll feel like you won the lottery. She’s such good, sweet, beautiful girl.

Foxtail is a gentle girl who often tries to look tough, while hoping you won’t give up and will keep working for her love 🥲😹 

Just 8 weeks ago she was living outdoors with his mom & siblings. Foxtail enjoys pets, playtime, catnip & snuggles with her litter mates. We can already see how much she has come around in the last few weeks, and we cannot wait to see her blossom into the sweet, confident girl she wants to be. Whomever ends up adopting this beautiful girl will be one lucky person or family!

Thistle is looking for the purrfect forever family to call his own. Though just 8 weeks ago we was considered a feral kitty with his siblings & mom, he has come around so much in a short period of time.

Though he is still shy and will need a bit more time to fully open up, please don’t let this stop you from giving him a chance. With the continued help of the other kittens in the room that are showing him it is okay to love humans, he will be on our side in no time! 

This guy would certainly benefit from being in a home with other confident animals or a sibling/friend to continue his socializing journey.

She comes around quite quickly and would do well in a home that is a bit more calm. She would do well solo or with cat friends. She has met dogs and children and does fine with both as long as they are not in her face or grabbing at her when she is scared. 

Cow Cat will surely blossom into a confident, even more wonderful girl in the right household. She is not yet a lap cat, but loves to be close by. This girly loves love, but is certainly still learning how to process it.

Smelly-cat is a silly girl with an even sillier name, as she’s not smelly at all! 🥲

She's absolutely wonderful and had experienced a lot in her short life. She started out as part of a freestyling hippie kitty commune (ie, a stray cat colony), where (due to all the free loving) she became a young mother. Smelly somehow fit 8 gorgeous babies into her tiny frame. She was a devoted mama, always letting the kittens eat first and have dibs on the toys. Now that her babies have moved on, she is finally getting to enjoy a life of leisure, and is showing that she is just a big kitten herself.

She loves to leap after wand toys, and is an excellent hunter of flying bugs. She is affectionate and likes to be nearby, but isn't a lap cat. Smelly does great with dogs, adores other cats and would be happiest in a home with another furry friend (or two, or three). She would be good with kids.

Walk within five feet of Zoomie and the purring usually begins. Despite her name, “Zoomers” is a calm, lower-energy lap cat who would much rather cuddle on the couch than race around the house.

When Zoomie decides it is cuddle time, she makes a few cute little vocalizations and leads you directly to the couch. Once you sit down, she’ll climb onto your lap and happily stay there for as long as you let her. She loves licking fingers, enjoys belly rubs, and is comfortable being picked up and brushed.

Zoomie is friendly with new people and has been relaxed around energetic children. When she met two children aged nine and eleven, she remained comfortable and allowed them to pet her. She has also calmly observed an energetic, medium-sized dog without reacting, suggesting she may do well with a respectful dog after a proper introduction.

People are definitely her first choice, but she can live comfortably with cats that respect her space. She does not usually seek out other cats for companionship, although she will happily play alongside them when a person brings out a wand toy. Wand toys are her favourite, but she is also capable of entertaining herself.

Zoomie would be equally comfortable as the only cat or sharing her home with an independent feline roommate. She is fine being left alone, sleeps through the night with very little nighttime vocalization, uses scratching posts, has reliable litter-box habits, and is a good eater.

She would be an excellent match for someone looking for a calm, affectionate cat who enjoys being handled and wants to spend plenty of time curled up in a lap. Come meet Zoomie and see how quickly the purring begins.

She wants to be near her people, and likes being on your lap or part of a cuddle puddle. She enjoys play time but is generally a pretty relaxed girl. 

Sophie is good with other cats once she gets to know them. (She might hiss a little at first but adjusts quickly once she realizes that they just want to be friends). She would be good with kids. She hasn't met dogs

The Sweet, Quiet, and Gentle Observer

Meet Skytron (Sky) a gentle, sweet Lynx Point Siamese who is looking for a serene "forever home" to blossom in. While some Siamese cats are incredibly loud, Sky is a more patient, quiet observer who prefers a peaceful environment.

Sky has a stunning coat with soft silver stripes and gorgeous blue eyes. He might be a little reserved when meeting new people, but once he knows he is safe, he transforms into a couch or bed buddy. 

He doesn't care to be held but he does allow being picked up.

He loves peaceful afternoons spent bird-watching from a sunny window or perched atop the highest point of a cat tree, although he does love to romp around chasing spring toys or anything with catnip!

Sky would thrive best in a quiet, patient household. He would do well as an only pet or alongside another very calm, cat-friendly kitty, preferably female or a male his own age.

Sky has a fantastic appetite and his litter box manners are superb.

Hiss is a playful, affectionate cat with a huge personality. She loves being petted and brushed, gets along well with other cats, is comfortable around children, sleeps through the night, and can be left alone without trouble. Her favourite toy is a feather wand, which she doesn’t simply play with—she stalks and hunts it with complete determination.

Once she feels comfortable, Hiss enjoys being close to her people and shows affection in her own distinctive way. She sometimes gives little love bites, usually from a unique combination of personality, affection, and getting slightly overstimulated. She has never been fond of being picked up, although she is gradually becoming more comfortable with it.

Hiss may be cautious around unfamiliar people and will likely need some time to settle into a new home. Temptations treats are one of the fastest ways to win her over, along with patience, gentle attention, and a good brushing.

She has made remarkable progress since arriving in foster care. At first, she hid frequently, hissed often, and wasn’t sure how to interact with either people or other cats. With help from her friend (who came from same hoarding situation) Chirp, she has become much more confident and social. She no longer hisses, plays well with other cats, and has even learned a large vocabulary of soft, conversational sounds from Chirp.

In an ideal world adopting Hiss with Chirp would take place. Chirp’s calm confidence helps Hiss feel secure, adjust to unfamiliar situations, and continue growing into the affectionate and expressive cat she is becoming. They get along very well and bring out the best in each other.

Hiss has a healthy appetite and excellent litter-box habits. Her experience with dogs is unknown, so any introduction would need to be slow and carefully supervised.

Despite her name, Hiss has left the hissing behind. She is a funny, affectionate, enthusiastic little hunter who needs someone willing to give her time, respect her boundaries, and enjoy watching more of her personality appear.
