Sponsor an animal
Vaccinations are extremely important for dogs and cats. Unvaccinated animals, especially the young are susceptible to several severe health issues. For cats: Panleukopenia, Feline Leukemia Virus, and Feline Calicivirus. In puppies: Distemper, Parvovirus, Parainfluenza and two types of Canine Adenovirus.
Some animals, especially those that come in as strays or are born in care from a stray mom can have worms in their bellies. These parasites cause all kids of issues with the animals if not treated.
When an animal comes into care, they are vaccinated up to three time and dewormed up to four times. These simple, but effective (and needed) treatments add up.
Each vaccination costs $20.00
Each dewormer treatment costs $16.00 for an adult and $12.00 for a kitten.
If you would like to sponsor a new animal in care for a vaccine or dewormer, there are several ways to donate. Please mention Intake Sponsorship and the animal's name if there was a particular animal that caught your eye.
