She takes a joint supplement in her food to help with arthritis in her right hip and is on weight management food to keep her feeling her best. She had ear surgery in the past as she came in with double hematomas, so now she has two adorable little ear nubs — fully healed and totally unique! Her ears just need a gentle cleaning twice a week to keep them healthy.

Meet Bunnie boy! The stray that doesn't have a mean bone in his body. This sweet boy hasn't had a easy life and is happy to be living the life indoors now. His hobbies now include eating, napping, repeat. This quirky boy is slowly getting used to interactive playing and will often startle himself after chasing a toy but will quickly come back for more, his favourite toy is his honeysuckle sticks! He will never turn down a pet, he loves pets so much he will often grab your hand to press it up to his face for more pets. Bunnie boy has so much love to give if you're looking for a cat who just wants to relax and take it easy with cuddles inbetween then Bunnie is the guy you've been waiting for! Also Bunnie is FIV+ and sporting a patchy partly shaven tail that's in the middle of growing back

FIV+ cats can be around other cats, but if you have a cat who will is known to start fights or throw paws, it would be best not to mix them. This sweet boy had had more of his fair share of being beaten up by other cats. He is really happy being a solo cat and getting all your attention, but also does wonderfully with calm cats.

Hello! I am a distinguished boy, and a real gentleman charmer! I’m a little shy at first, so take it slow with me, but once I’m comfortable, I am a very friendly, cuddly and chatty guy. In my spare time, I enjoy making biscuits, playing with catnip toys, and hanging out with my cat and dog sisters. At nighttime, I love cuddling up with my human kids while they fall asleep.

I am overweight and have been working on my weight loss journey for a new months now, it’s coming along well! But keep in mind I am a big boy who needs activity and play!

I would do best in a calmer home. I also get a bit anxious, and when things are very busy I will over groom my paws and arms raw. I was put on medical hold while I was figuring this out, but I am all better now, my fur has grown back nicely, and I am ready to find my forever family!

If you work from home, Amy makes for the perfect coworker - she likes to join Teams meetings to boost workplace morale and then proceed to nap by your keyboard once her work is done. 

Amy loves to climb on cat trees, look outside windows and play with her toys. Amy will need someone who will play with her to help her lose weight. 

Amy grooms herself fastidiously but she needs a bit of help cleaning up her backend after she uses the litterbox. As she loses weight, she should be able to reach and clean back there herself.

Our sweet Mr. Limpy is looking for a very special family. Could it be you?

Approximately a year ago, Limpy was seen on his fosters porch camera eating with the other neighborhood strays.
After being watched for a while it was noticed he had some sort of injury to his front paw and was limping.
After trying for quite some time, Mr. Limpy was trapped! This is how he got his name.

He was taken to the vet to get treatment for his sore paw as well as Neutered, vaccinated and dewormed.
To heal he stayed in a 2 story cage, he was not doing well, he wouldn't eat and seemed extremely unhappy and depressed and angry, no one could touch him.
So once he was healed he was released back to the porch.

Fast forward to winter, it was so cold so the foster decided to trap and keep all the strays indoor for the winter. Mr. LIMPY was 1st to be trapped and released into the fosters basement.

Limpy appeared to be a semi feral cat, he would growl and hiss if you got close to him. Eventually, after a few weeks he started rubbing up on their legs when it was food time, but couldn't pet him as he'd attack your hand, you also couldn’t walk away from him cause he'd attack your legs and feet...as time went on and he kept attacking legs and feet he was put into a very large cage where his foster would go in with him and spend time with him.

He decided he loved getting pets from her and would purr and cuddle up. He does still get over stimulated and bite(not hard) and grab (without claws) your hands. He is extremely loving and a wonderful cat, but only to one person. He will hiss growl and attack the legs of any other person.

Limpy needs a special home with one human or a couple willing to put in the work to earn Mr.Limpys love. He does well with other cats but can play rough. He is fine with little dogs if they leave him alone.
He plays with toys when he is alone, he hasn't yet played toys with his foster.

He is a big loveable Bear when he finds his person.

Looking for a handsome man with a heart of gold? Meet Beanie Weenie. He’s sweetest 4yr old gentleman who’s never met a friend he didn’t like. With his big soulful eyes and half grown-back lion-cut floof, he’s a total catch.

This laid-back lovebug spends most of his days cozied up in bed, napping like it’s his full-time job. When it’s time to play he adores his catnip banana toy. He will happily show off his “inner kitten” by tackling his toy and throwing it around. Beanie Weenie will also gently wrestle his feline friends for a bit of fun. He’s very self-aware of his size and always plays gently, making sure not to overpower the smaller cats.

Beanie Weenie absolutely loves attention and getting pets but he’s far too polite to ask for it. He will quietly wait nearby hoping you’ll come to him. He’s not a lap cat and won’t climb into your arms, but he’ll happily sit beside you purring contentedly as you give him attention. Beanie Weenie requires a home that can keep up with frequent grooming such as brushing his fur and keeping his eyes nice and clean. Overall he is a very handsome, loving and easy going guy. It was a pleasure to host Ava once again! Upon hearing she was returning to the rescue (not being her fault) we were quick to scoop her up. This time around Ava came back overweight.

Due to her size, she is unable to clean her backend resulting in her needing extra assistance involving a quick wipe with a warm cloth. We have been working on reducing her weight, which means closely following the feeding guidelines and daily playtime of 20-30 min. It’s always a pleasure to have Ava, she is super laidback and an overall very easy cat to care for. She will follow you around the house and will chatter with you when she wants to pet. As she continues to get comfortable, she is starting to get the zoomies which is very funny and rewarding to see. She also enjoys playing with wand toys and has tried engaging play with our other cats. Her all-time favorite though is spending her time lying belly up snoozing in the sun. She has yet to climb into our laps but enjoys being near us. Given Ava returns to a healthier weight, she is a low maintenance cat and would make a great roommate! Her current roommates are loud and busy which she’s still adjusting to, she would prefer a less busy and quieter household but who wouldn’t though!

Mandalay came to me really afraid and shy. As the weeks have gone by she’s been blossoming into such a funny girl who loves to zoom around the apartment and play with catnip toys. Sitting by the window watching birds and people walk by is one of her hobbies and if you can why not brush her shiny black fur while she’s bird watching, she enjoys that. She loves to be around people whether your in the living room or bedroom she’ll be there watching you from a few feet away. She’s a very curious kitty but also still quite shy and will need someone who is patient and willing to work building trust.

Mistir Walter is such a sweet, gentle boy with the softest heart. He might be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his personality shines through. He’s incredibly affectionate and will purr nonstop for chin and ear rubs, it’s the sweetest sound.

He’s also playful in the cutest way and loves chasing wand toys. Once playtime is over, he’s perfectly happy to relax and snuggle close. Mistir Walter always greets you when you get home, rubbing against you to say hello. He’s usually quiet, but every now and then he’ll make the softest little squeaks… it’s adorable!! He rarely meows, except to gently remind you it’s mealtime.

He’s such a calm, loving, and well mannered cat who brings so much warmth and comfort. Whoever adopts him will be so lucky to have him, he’s truly a sweetheart!

Be warned that Ishta is a bit of a foodie and she will gobble any wet food she can, and possibly people food if she can. Her litter box manners are impeccable. Very sweet and playful cat.

Hi, I’m Sasha! My foster mom jokingly called me Sasha Fierce (after Beyoncé’s alter ego) because I sure was fierce when I first arrived! I was so scared but I didn’t want foster mom to know I was scared so I tried to be big and tough and hurt her before she could hurt me (I didn’t know humans could be kind and loving.) 

I was living outside with my brother and mom who was also pregnant again. Foster mom sure was persistent though and didn’t give up on me so I decided to take a chance and boy, am I ever glad I did! I LOVE to be petted and I especially love to press my forehead against foster mom’s forehead and just connect with her. 

I LOVE toys, I love to play so much! I never had toys when I lived outside. I also adore other animals, I NEED to go to a home with other cats that can help me continue to be brave. I love dogs too. I don’t love being picked up yet, it scared me not being on the ground but we’re working on it! I love to eat and I love snack time at foster mom’s house and I’m always first in line. 

I have an adorable little meow and often talk to foster mom when she is being too slow to hand out food and treats! I’m so hoping to find a home that will love me forever and make me forget all about the days of being homeless

She’s come a long way from the frightened, semi-feral cat she was a few months ago, but she doesn’t fully trust people yet so will require a little patience. She’s worth it. Once you’ve passed probation, she will demonstrate her approval with chirps to welcome you home, company for any indoor activities and a companion for watching Netflix. For the moment Aveline is more of a night cuddler, but there’s a lap cat in there just waiting to come out.

He loves chasing small toys, especially ones with bells. He has also been known to throw himself into his foster mom’s arms if he feels like it’s time for a cuddle. He is an absolute lover-boy, perfect for any family looking for a cat to curl up with during those long winter nights.

The sweetest boy you’ll ever meet. He is a lover boy and a gentle little man. He wants to make friends eagerly and once he does he enjoys playing tag with his new buddy. He also enjoys his alone time and loves to lay out by the window catching the rays. He is a quite boy too and likes his naps. When it comes to meal times he will meow at you to hurry up with his plate. Hes not picky with his food and enjoys both wet and dry food and will clean off his plate. Once he’s done his meal he enjoys chilling on the couch watching your favourite tv show. For being approx a year old he’s a very laid back chill boy, he’s curious as well but does not get into things he’s not supposed to. For playtime he loves the wand toys, springs and catnip anything. He goes crazy for catnip and quite entertaining to watch him play. This sweet boy is a pleasure to have around. He will make a perfect addition to any family.

Hey there, my name is Willow. I am a pretty little lady looking for a safe haven to call my own. I was rescued from a bad situation but that experience did not make me lose my sparkle and joy. My foster parents say I am the friendliest and sweetest cat you will ever meet and who am I to argue.

I love being petted and will even force my head under your hand if you stop too soon. I love to cuddle up on your lap and when you are lying down, I will stretch out as far as I can and make myself at home and have a wonderful nap.

I enjoy playing with all sorts of toys especially ones I can carry in my mouth. Be warned though, I can be a little tough on soft toys as I like to try and tear them apart – have a needle and thread ready for repairs! I can make almost anything a cat toy! Another one of my favorite pastimes is jumping up and sitting on window ledges and looking outside at the birds and other wildlife. I think I have checked out every window sill in my foster parent’s home. I really love a little play fighting in the morning while my foster mom is still in bed or when she is trying to do her stretches after a workout and I hope you will love it too.

I prefer cat food that is chunks or flakes of meat with gravy like Friskies Shredded (my personal favorite), none of that pate food for me. I enjoy crunchy food as well and really love those squeezable treats.

I am currently in a home where I am the only cat and enjoy being the centre of attention, but I have been with other pets before and think it would be fun to have buddy to play with. I have very good litter box manners.

I was rescued from the street and brought into care. At the time I was very scared and timid, didn't trust humans.

I absolutely love the resident cats here, we all get along so great! I love zoomimg with them and having play battles.

When I first came to my current fosters I hid under a chair from my foster mom for quite a few days, and I wouldn't let her touch me for weeks. She was really sweet and left me treats, to try bring me out and to help gain my confidence and trust. It took patience, and time to convince me I was safe.

But it finally happened! 😺

🪥 Ive had some dental work done. So my teeth are sparkling and pearly white, and I have the freshest breath 💚

🍽 For Mealtime I currently love Whiskas favorite pouches in gravy. I do like dry food, but I just graze on that very slowly. My preference is moist food paws down!

I love and get along great with the cats and two big dogs in my foster home. Younger kids kinda scare me. I am still leary of humans. But Im realizing that I don't need to be. I am still learning, and I apologize if I seem scared at first. Just give me time and patience.

Im not scared of dogs at all as long as they are cat savvy and dont chase me.

Hi! I’m Cardamom! 

I was born with a large hole in my heart. I had a cardiac ultrasound done and found that while I don’t need any treatment right now, this is something that will need to be monitored over time. There’s a chance it could lead to heart problems in the future, like heart failure. I will likely need annual cardiac ultrasounds for the rest of my life in hopes of catching changes early (and possibly put on meds to extend things). Due to the large hole in my heart, the specialist said it puts me at significant risk of a shorter lifespan—possibly around 2 to 7 years—but right now I’m happy, playful, and feeling great! I’ll need another heart ultrasound in about a year to check on things. I’m hoping to find a home that will love me just as I am and give me the cozy, joy-filled life every kitty deserves! 

Now, more about ME! I’m a tiny long haired ginger who is exceptionally sweet. I had kittens while I was still a kitten myself. Now that I’m done with mom duties, I’d really love to settle down in a home of my own. I love the resident pets in my foster home, especially the dog. I’ll follow him around and playfully wrestle with him every change I get. Humans are great too, the more the merrier.  When company comes over I’m happy to meet everyone. S-s-sorry.. Hi… My name is Sugarpie. You caught me being the sweet, happy little girl I’m capable of being if you give me the chance.

See, I came in as a semi-feral, petrified kitty. I would freeze, hiss and occasionally swat. After quite some time I learned that pets do feel good and stopped turning to stone when my foster family pet me. I slowly pressed into the pets and loved receiving tube treats.

My foster family and visiting furry pals have helped me bloom into a tolerant and loving sweetie but do keep in mind I am still very skittish and shy… fast movements, loud noises, and too humans will make me bolt and hide. I am still not ready to be picked up, I won’t bite but it will stress me out and I will push away possibly clawing you in the process. If you need to move me momentarily, you can very carefully and gently pick me up by the nape of my neck like a kitten and I will remain calm but let’s try to avoid that all together

I found my voice and will let out teeny, tiny squawks letting you know I miss you and want pets. When you are calm I will come to you for pets, rub against you, and roll on to my back to show you my belly. I do like feet and will lick your toes… but you know, to each their own. I am very lady-like and agreeable when it comes to my bathroom manners and eating habits though!

I love playing with wand toys and other kitty friends. I’m very submissive and sweet to other cats and respect other kitties boundaries as they get used to me, I have never hissed or swatted at another cat. I might do well with a smaller doggy friend with proper intro. As for kids- well let’s just say they have to be calm, cool and collected or I’m going back to my hiding spot.

I’m hoping I find a small family or a single life partner that will be patient with me, as it will take some time getting used to a new place and not take it personally if I hiss or get TOO scared on the first day. My squeaks, rubs, and slow blinks are very well worth the wait.
