Sex: Male

Approx Age: 4+ years (June 1, 2021)

Breed: Himalayan Cross

JUNIPER

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 1+ years (June 30, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Some love stories start in the most unexpected places…

Juniper arrived in the early winter months, a very pregnant stray seeking warmth in a stranger’s sunroom. There, she gave birth to her kittens before coming into the care of the rescue. After her little ones were adopted, Juniper stayed behind… a shy, quiet girl who had spent her life surviving on the streets. Even after eight months in care, she remains cautious of humans, but she’s gentle, calm, and gets along beautifully with all animals.

Then came Beanie — a handsome Himalayan Ragdoll mix who’d clearly had a rough go before landing with us. He started out pretty jumpy, flinching at every noise. But with some patience he has bloomed into a laid back, friendly little gentleman who wins over everyone he meets.

Beanie’s easygoing, affectionate nature gave Juniper the comfort she’d been missing. She began to trust, even allowing pets when he’s nearby. Wherever Beanie is, Juniper is never far behind — you’ll often find them napping side by side or chasing each other around the house.

These two have built an adorable bond and they bring out the best in each other. They’re now searching for a forever home together — a place where Beanie can keep shining as the confident, loving boy he is, and where Juniper can continue to blossom with her best friend by her side.

Beanie is a big boy and has a tendency to overeat when there’s kibble left out, so he will need a home that can continue to help him lose weight and manage his food intake to ensure he doesn't become overweight.

If you’re looking for a low maintenance pair whose love will melt your heart, Juniper and Beanie are waiting for you. 💕

🌸 Meet Pinky & Inky - Sisters, Best Friends, and Your Future Heart-Stealers!

Pinky and Inky aren't just cats-they're soulmates in whiskers and fur. These sweet, (shy at first) sisters have been in our care for over a year, patiently waiting for the one thing they can't find here: a forever home together.

Inky, the gentle charmer, loves cozy cuddles and will happily purr away in your lap. Pinky, the playful spark, will make you laugh with her silly antics.

Different in their own ways, but perfectly matched, they balance each other like peanut butter and jelly... or maybe more like naps and snack time.

They've never known life apart and can't imagine it any other way. Wherever one goes, the other is close behind-always looking out for each other, always together.

These two girls have so much love to give, and after waiting for so long, they deserve a home that will treasure them both. In return, Pinky and Inky will fill your life with laughter, love, and the warmth that only comes from having not one, but two best friends.

If you have room in your heart (and your couch) for two, Pinky and Inky are ready to fill your home with double the joy.

Meet Our Gentle Giant – The Tuxedo Gentleman 🖤🤍

If you’ve ever dreamed of living with a polite little gentleman who happens to look like he’s always dressed for a formal event, this handsome tuxedo cat might be your perfect match.

This big boy truly looks like he’s wearing a tiny black-and-white tuxedo suit. With his large, plush body and soft fur, he feels just like hugging a giant teddy bear. WHITNEY HOUSTON

WHITNEY HOUSTON

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 5+ years (December 20, 2020)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Hi, my name is Whitney Houston but my foster calls me Whinnie. If you are looking for your new best friend, then I’m your gal! I’ll come greet you at the door when you get home and follow you around like a little shadow. I love being near my humans whether that is sitting next to you on the couch (maybe even on you if I’m feeling up to it) or following you around. I can be vocal and will be sure to let you know if it is time for dinner or if I would like a treat. I don’t mind being picked up but will kindly let you know when I would like to be let down. I am a very sweet and affectionate and will purr up a storm if you give me some pets. I am also very social and love to meet new people.

At this time, I need to be listed as a solo kitty with no other fur babies in the household. I had my last litter of kittens, but when they were born I changed.. I became very protective and aggressive towards other animals and their scents. I may mellow out now that I don’t have to be a protective mama, but have not had the ability to be tested with other animals yet. But don’t worry, I have more than enough love to fill your life with!

MISSY JEAN

 Sex: Female
Approx Age: 5+ years (January 18, 2021)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Hello, my name is Missy Jean,If you love to read and enjoy quiet evenings at home. I am the perfect company.

About me, I am a bit timid and prefer lots of hiding places that let me watch the world around me. I am sensitive to being held as I prefer to have my feet on the ground. But don’t let that discourage you, while I don’t know how to ask, I love to get brushed everyday, so my furr is so soft and I’ll purr like mad till you brush every hair.

Once I’m settled in, I find the highest perches and watch the birds outside the window. I’m so smart that I even respond to being called (Missy) when it is quiet in the room.

I need a home that is patient, and won’t give up on loving me.

Here is a tip, if you want to become my friend, greenies dental treats, are my absolute favourite. You may want to count how many you give me.

HIBISCUS

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 5+ years (April 1, 2021)

Breed: Himalayan Cross

Hibiscus came into care as a breeder cat. She spent her whole life having babies. Litter after litter. When in care, she had her final litter. Every one of them found a home almost immediately. She watched them leave. But she stayed behind.

At first she can come off a little “spicy.” But she isn’t mean. She’s just easily overstimulated. Her body was never really her own. Always being handled. Always surrounded. Always needed. Now she protects it. When she’s had enough pets, she gives a gentle swat. No claws. Just a small “that’s enough.” It’s not in anger - It’s just the only way she knows how to set a boundary.

She isn’t difficult. She’s just finally learning that she’s allowed to say no. And for a girl who never got that choice before, that tiny swat is actually something very brave!

That being said - Hibiscus LOVES to be brushed. She melts into it. Twirls around your legs. Purrs nonstop. She also loves toys, springs, pom poms, catnip toys - all the toys! She’s almost five, but when she gets the zoomies, you see the kitten she didn’t get the chance to be.

One important note: she will eat plastic if given the chance. Tape from amazon boxes, food wrappers, packaging, etc. It has to be kept out of reach!

But otherwise, Hibiscus is a low maintenance girl. She grooms herself beautifully, plays independently, and isn’t loud or destructive. She probably won’t be a lap cat. But she will sit nearby. She will watch you. And little by little she will choose to trust you.

And when she does choose you, it will mean something. Because this is a cat who has been overlooked for being “spicy,” passed over for being “too stand off-ish,” when really she’s just a girl who had to grow armor too early. She needs someone who sees past the first impression and decides she’s worth staying for.

Hibiscus isn’t for everyone. She’s for someone patient. Someone who understands that love doesn’t always look like instant cuddles. Sometimes it looks like a gentle swat… followed by a slow blink across the room. ❤️

MR LIMPY

Sex: Male
Approx Age: 4+ years (May 5, 2021)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Our sweet Mr. Limpy is looking for a very special family. Could it be you?

Approximately a year ago, Limpy was seen on his fosters porch camera eating with the other neighborhood strays.
After being watched for a while it was noticed he had some sort of injury to his front paw and was limping.
After trying for quite some time, Mr. Limpy was trapped! This is how he got his name.

He was taken to the vet to get treatment for his sore paw as well as Neutered, vaccinated and dewormed.
To heal he stayed in a 2 story cage, he was not doing well, he wouldn't eat and seemed extremely unhappy and depressed and angry, no one could touch him.
So once he was healed he was released back to the porch.

Fast forward to winter, it was so cold so the foster decided to trap and keep all the strays indoor for the winter. Mr. LIMPY was 1st to be trapped and released into the fosters basement.

Limpy appeared to be a semi feral cat, he would growl and hiss if you got close to him. Eventually, after a few weeks he started rubbing up on their legs when it was food time, but couldn't pet him as he'd attack your hand, you also couldn’t walk away from him cause he'd attack your legs and feet...as time went on and he kept attacking legs and feet he was put into a very large cage where his foster would go in with him and spend time with him.

He decided he loved getting pets from her and would purr and cuddle up. He does still get over stimulated and bite(not hard) and grab (without claws) your hands. He is extremely loving and a wonderful cat, but only to one person. He will hiss growl and attack the legs of any other person.

Limpy needs a special home with one human or a couple willing to put in the work to earn Mr.Limpys love. He does well with other cats but can play rough. He is fine with little dogs if they leave him alone.
He plays with toys when he is alone, he hasn't yet played toys with his foster.

He is a big loveable Bear when he finds his person.
Someone out there must want to give this big loveable lug the chance he deserves!

NORTH

Sex: Male

Approx Age: 4+ years (November 11, 2021)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Hi! My name is North. I’m a big boy with an equally big heart. I’m adjusting quite nicely in my foster home and growing more confident by the day. New environments can be scary so I like to have spots to hide in where I feel safe. Once I realize there is no danger, I come out of my shell and love to interact! Wherever my human is, I’m not far behind!

I’m an easy-going cat who doesn’t mind tummy rubs, getting brushed, and being picked up. In fact, I love cuddles! My foster mom will tell you that she has a hard time taking pictures of me because, if she is not fast enough, I have already run up to her and flopped down at her feet for pets (chin scratches and tail scritches are the best!) My favourite place to nap is curled up in your lap. And – if you happen to be lying down – oh I just love to snuggle up on your chest and purr softly into your ear!

When I am feeling playful, I like to chase wand toys and explore every nook and cranny. I am a good climber and love to jump up shelves, box towers, and especially my cat tree! A tree (or two!) is a must in my new home. I enjoy sitting at the very top and keeping a watchful eye on the neighbourhood from the window. I know to use my cardboard scratchers and scratching posts rather than the furniture. I also have impeccable litter box manners.

In short, I may not be as rambunctious as a kitten but if you are looking for a laid-back cat who will love you to bits, then I am your guy!

Cats: untested; likely ok with slow intro

Dogs: untested; likely ok if cat-savvy

FRIGID GEORGE

FRIGID GEORGE

Sex: Male

Approx Age: 4+ years (January 26, 2022)

Breed: Domestic Long Hair

Frigid George (Georgie) had a rough start to life on the streets. He is now 4 years old and is a very loving boy. He is reserved at first around new people but if given time a small room to warm up in by himself he would do well. He needs a knowledgeable cat owner and one that is willing to do the necessary things for him. Once he warms up, he loves to be pet but does not like to be held much. He usually warms up faster to women than men. He also loves to play, his favorite toys are jingle balls, fluffy balls or crinkle balls. He also loves a good feather stick and loves his cardboard scratchers and a good fluffy bed.

He is a very vocal boy so he will call you demanding pets and food as he loves his routine. It is also possible that given time and a non pushy cat he may warm up to other cats. When at the shelter in intake, he was very interested and excited about the other kitties in the room but had no direct contact.

He also enjoys being brushed but does not like to have his feet trimmed so they may need to be done at the vet.

Cats: likely fine with slow intro

Dogs: unknown

Kids: unknown but older likely fine

MANDALAY

FRIGID GEORGE

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 4+ years (April 15, 2022)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Mandalay came to me really afraid and shy. As the weeks have gone by she’s been blossoming into such a funny girl who loves to zoom around the apartment and play with catnip toys. She enjoys the company of other cats and has gained confidence from having a cat companion. Sitting by the window watching birds and people walk by is one of her hobbies and if you can why not brush her shiny black fur while she’s bird watching, she enjoys that. She loves to be around people whether your in the living room or bedroom she’ll be there watching you from a few feet away. She’s a very curious kitty but also still quite shy and will need someone who is patient and willing to work building trust.

Good with with other cats

CALLISTA

 Sex: Female
Approx Age: 3+ years (October 17, 2022)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Meet Callista!
This lovely cat is a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once she feels safe, she settles in nicely. Right now, she tends to bond most strongly with one person, though she’s gradually getting used to everyone in the household.

Callista isn’t a big fan of being picked up however she’s perfectly content to receive pets when she’s on the floor.

When she’s in a playful mood, she’ll bat around her toy mouse or any interesting object she finds. She also has occasional bursts of energy where she zooms around or quietly perches by a window to watch the world go by. She shows her affection with soft meows and head bumps, letting you know when she’s ready for love.

If you’re patient and willing to give her the time and space she needs to adjust, Callista could be your perfect companion.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

💕 Meet Sparks – A Sweet, Shy Mama Ready for Her Forever Home 💕

Sparks came into our care as a young mother, and she has done an amazing job raising her kittens. Now that her little ones have all found their own families, it’s her turn to be loved and cared for.

This gentle girl can be quite shy when she first arrives somewhere new. Sudden changes or unfamiliar spaces can make her nervous, so she’ll need a calm environment and a patient adopter who will give her time to settle in. Once she feels safe, though, her affectionate side blossoms — she absolutely loves chin rubs and gentle pets, and she’ll happily seek out attention from the people she trusts. She uses her front paws to hold your hands for pets to make sure you won’t get away until she’s had enough pets.

Sparks has wonderful manners — she uses her litter box perfectly, eats all her meals, and even cooperates nicely for nail trims. She also gets along very well with other cats and could be a great companion for a friendly resident feline. She’s a quiet girl who will only be chatty as you prepare her food, she just can’t contain her excitement!

This lovely girl is looking for a quiet, stable home where she can continue to gain confidence at her own pace. With a little patience and a lot of love, Sparks will reward her family with endless sweetness and trust.

• Young adult female, shy but affectionate once settled

• Enjoys chin rubs and gentle attention

• Good with other cats

• Great litter box habits and healthy appetite

• Tolerates nail trims well

• Best suited for a calm, patient home

SASHAA

AVELINE

SASHAA

 Sex: Female
Approx Age: 2+ years (December 7, 2023)
Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Hi, I’m Sasha! My foster mom jokingly called me Sasha Fierce (after Beyoncé’s alter ego) because I sure was fierce when I first arrived! I was so scared but I didn’t want foster mom to know I was scared so I tried to be big and tough and hurt her before she could hurt me (I didn’t know humans could be kind and loving.)

I was living outside with my brother and mom who was also pregnant again. Foster mom sure was persistent though and didn’t give up on me so I decided to take a chance and boy, am I ever glad I did! I LOVE to be petted and I especially love to press my forehead against foster mom’s forehead and just connect with her.

I LOVE toys, I love to play so much! I never had toys when I lived outside. I also adore other animals, I NEED to go to a home with other cats that can help me continue to be brave. I love dogs too. I don’t love being picked up yet, it scared me not being on the ground but we’re working on it! I love to eat and I love snack time at foster mom’s house and I’m always first in line.

I have an adorable little meow and often talk to foster mom when she is being too slow to hand out food and treats! I’m so hoping to find a home that will love me forever and make me forget all about the days of being homeless

Cats: Yes!
Dogs: Yes with proper intro
Kids: Not when scared. Once comfortable I would be ok.

AVELINE

AVELINE

AVELINE

 Sex: Female
Approx Age: 2+ years (January 1, 2024)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Aveline currently has staff positions to fill! The right person(s) will:
Feed her every time they approach the kitchen;
Immediately retrieve all toys lost under furniture. Failure to do so will result in a withering side-eye;
Play catch for hours, preferably with ping pong balls;
Watch bird videos with her;
Welcome late night massages/acupuncture treatments;
Ideally provide a home with windows from which to view the local wildlife.

Aveline is lots of fun, has good litter box manners, and is a cheap date — her current favourite meal is Fancy Feast chicken and liver pâté. She’s come a long way from the frightened, semi-feral cat she was a few months ago, but she doesn’t fully trust people yet so will require a little patience. She’s worth it. Once you’ve passed probation, she will demonstrate her approval with chirps to welcome you home, company for any indoor activities and a companion for watching Netflix. For the moment Aveline is more of a night cuddler, but there’s a lap cat in there just waiting to come out.

S'MORE

S'MORE

AVELINE

 Sex: Female
Approx Age: 2+ years (January 7, 2024)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

S'more is so sweet, trusting and resilient, showing immediate affection and approaching any new people even though she had a rough start and has been moved around to several foster homes. Even when she gets busted for mischief she remains unfazed - a sign of a true queen. She is friendly and playful with all my three female cats and loves racing up and down the carpeted stairs and tunnel toy play. She adores the sauna (the heat) and races to join me when she hears the beep. She is about 2 I believe but has the chill temperment of an older cat - enjoying sleeping close by for much of the day. With that she would be good as part of a pack or would do well to dote on if you were her solo person. Night-time next to your face cuddles are a must and she is my adoring little shadow when I roam the house. She likes pets but is missing her tail so if you touch a sensitive spot, she'll letcha know, but she is ever so gentle with her nibbles.

S'more'l loves water and will constantly try to sip/steal water from your glass - even with a fancy refreshing auto water dispenser. Loves temptations treats (not too much for her tummy), tuna/salmon juice and catnip (duh!). Currently does super well with gastro food and dried pumpkin and has been transitioned successfully to wood pellet litter. An absolute gem of a kitty and a wonderful addition to any home. I have so enjoyed having her stay these past 5 months and I honestly would adopt her if I had the resources for another permanent resident!

MAMBA

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 2+ years (March 1, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Mamba, also once an outdoor pregnant kitty found and picked up by the pound, is now put in her time of socializing and is ready to start her forever journey.

Meet Mamba, a sweet and shy cat who's looking for a patient and understanding home. She's a survivor who's learned to be a bit wary, but with time and treats, her true personality shines through! Mamba makes the cutest noises at feeding time. She's a master of stealth, moving silently through her space. Her best friend is Poplar, and they've both blossomed from scaredy-cats into confident companions. They have been together for approx 10 months now and would love to stay together if opportunity presented itself.

Mamba gets along well with other cats and could even live with calm dogs who won't chase her. A quiet household without children would be her ideal sanctuary, allowing her to truly come into her own.

You will likely have to do a video call vs in person meet, as they will likely hide when entering fosters home. And will need someone prepared to be patient when she comes into your home.

Meet Syrup, the sweet man of mystery.

Syrup is a curious, independent guy who loves to do his own thing, but also loves to know exactly what you’re up to. He’s the kind of cat who’ll explore every corner of your home, then plop down nearby to supervise your activities like a tiny, furry detective.

After his morning zoomies or a good round of laser tag, he’ll happily accept a meat tube before settling in to relax.

Syrup gets along great with other cats as long as they let him be his cool, confident self and they don’t bully him. He’s been thriving in his foster home, showing off his playful side.

He’s also known for his morning bathroom visits, not because he’s helpful, but because he knows breakfast happens soon after!

Syrup enjoys both wet and dry food, loves a good chin scratch, and is great with kids. He hasn’t met any dogs yet, but with a slow introduction, he’d likely be just fine.

If you’re looking for a funny, curious, and totally lovable companion, Syrup is your guy!

WILLOW

WILLOW

WILLOW

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 2+ years (April 5, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Willow is a sweet girl who has been on a bit of a medical journey. She developed skin sores caused by an environmental or food allergy, but after several vet visits and trying different diets and treatments, she is now happy, comfortable, and doing wonderfully.

To keep Willow feeling her best, she needs to stay on a special hydrolyzed diet and take ½ tablet of prednisolone every other day. With this simple routine, she remains completely stable and sore-free.

Hey there, my name is Willow. I am a pretty little lady looking for a safe haven to call my own. I was rescued from a bad situation but that experience did not make me lose any of my sparkle and joy. My foster parents say I am the friendliest and sweetest cat you will ever meet and who am I to argue.

I love being petted and will even force my head under your hand if you stop too soon. I love to cuddle up on your lap and when you are lying down, I will stretch out as far as I can and make myself at home and have a wonderful nap. I hope you don’t mind if I sleep with you at night and even curl up on your chest for a while.

I enjoy playing with all sorts of toys especially ones I can carry in my mouth. I will be a constant source of amusement when you watch me play. Be warned though, I can be a little tough on soft toys as I like to try and tear them apart – have a needle and thread ready for repairs! I can make almost anything a cat toy!

Another one of my favorite pastimes is jumping up and sitting on window ledges and looking outside at the birds and other wildlife. I think I have checked out every window sill in my foster parent’s home.

I am pretty chill most of the time, but I do not like being confined or in the cat carrier. I apologize in advance for all the meowing that will occur when you take me home or take me to the vet. Just give me a little time outside the carrier and I will calm back down.

I have very good litter box manners.

If you like what you have read so far, why don’t we meet so we can become furever friends!

He loves to keep active by playing with his toys, his current favourite are ones with catnip or valerian root inside. He likes to be held but LOVES to hang over your shoulder instead.

While Moris is an active little fella, he does have a heart murmur that needs to be kept in mind. He tends to overdue himself and needs a gentle reminder to calm down once in a while.

Breed: Domestic Shorthair

Poplar, once an outdoor pregnant kitty found and picked up by the pound, is now put in her time of socializing and is ready to start her forever journey. She is a reserved young lady who is gradually becoming more comfortable. She would benefit from a home that can offer her patience and understanding. Once she feels secure in her environment, she becomes very affectionate. She thoroughly enjoys being petted and receiving attention. Her purrs are quite robust, indicating her contentment, and she occasionally drools with pleasure. She would thrive in a home where she has another companion. Currently, Mamba provides her with the confidence she needs to be more outgoing. They have been together for approx 10 months now and would love to stay together if opportunity presented itself.

Poplar possesses incredibly soft fur and a charming short tail. While she is apprehensive of dogs, she does not exhibit aggression towards them. Poplar would be most content in a home with older children or no children. She has no issues with using the litter box. She has a fondness for food and treats, which can be an excellent way to build her trust. She is a remarkably sweet cat once you get to know her.

TJ

Sex: Male

Approx Age: 1+ years (May 28, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Medium Hair

Hi my name is TJ🐾🧡

My foster mom says I truly am one in a million. I love how she tells me every day how handsome I am, Im her lil mini lion, with a majestic mane 🦁 😻

I follow her everywhere.

🐾 A bit about me🐾

I was rescued from the street and brought into care. At the time I was very scared and timid, didn't trust humans.

I absolutely love the resident cats here, we all get along so great! I love zoomimg with them and having play battles.

When I first came to my current fosters I hid under a chair from my foster mom for quite a few days, and I wouldn't let her touch me for weeks. She was really sweet and left me treats, to try bring me out and to help gain my confidence and trust. It took patience, and time to convince me I was safe.

But it finally happened! 😺

🪥 Ive had some dental work done. So my teeth are sparkling and pearly white, and I have the freshest breath 💚

🍽 For Mealtime I currently love Whiskas favorite pouches in gravy. I do like dry food, but I just graze on that very slowly. My preference is moist food paws down!

I love Temptation Treats and tube treats of course!

🐾 I have amazing litter box manners! I never make messes. I promise 🤞

I love and get along great with the cats and two big dogs in my foster home. Younger kids kinda scare me. I am still leery of humans. But I'm realizing that I don't need to be. I am still learning, and I apologize if I seem scared at first. Just give me time and patience.

I'm not scared of dogs at all as long as they are cat savvy and dont chase me.

Im an occasional counter surfer, I hate to admit.

I love lounging in the cat tree and soaking up the outside world and all its activities. A cozy lap for me is also tempting, I love scritches, and cuddles 🧡

I love wand play, laser always gets my attention. And zoomies with my foster fur family.

I'm quite the adventurer, when I'm not zooming with my feline friends I love checking out different area's. My foster mom finds me in lounging in various places often, like the bathroom sink, in her clothes wardrobe, downstairs ceiling. I just love exploring!

If you are looking for a sweet fluffy mini lion to grace your home, couch, lap and bed with sweet purrs, love and affection and playful zoomies, I'd love to be your purrfect match, and cuddly companion furever 😻

Sex: Female
Approx Age: 1+ years (June 18, 2024)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

My name is Cantaloupe, though my foster mom and brother call me Cutesy. I first entered TFR’s care 1 year and 7 months ago (580+ days ago) as part of the Seddon’s Corner crew… I think I am the last of 55 cats to find my forever family and I have no idea why 💔

My foster family says I am the absolute sweetest girl. I love to give kisses. I absolutely love belly rubs, butt pats, and snuggles. I love cats, dogs, kids, everyone and everything!! Running around playing and snuggling with my foster siblings is something I also enjoy.

I recently said farewell to my bestest surrogate sibling, Cheeseball, as he found his forever home and I have found a new fresh confidence (my foster mom is so proud of me for being a brave girl).

I have the cutest sweet little squeaky meow when I chitty chat. I would love to go to a forever home with a furry sibling or two. Although I sometimes seem shy to new people, I am loving and open up when I'm comfortable.

I have great litterbox and food manners. I would love to meet you (especially if you have a tube treat)!

Part of the reason I have been in care this long is because over a year ago I had ringworm. I have completed recovered from this, and did longgg ago. Please do not let that be the only reason you do not consider me as part of your family. I am totally fine!!

CARDAMOM

✨ I am a kitty with a medical condition. Please ready FULLY and seriously consider my requirements before submitting an application for me. ✨

Sex: Female
Approx Age: 1+ years (June 29, 2024)
Breed: Domestic Long Hair

Hi! I’m Cardamom!

I was born with a large hole in my heart. I had a cardiac ultrasound done and found that while I don’t need any treatment right now, this is something that will need to be monitored over time. There’s a chance it could lead to heart problems in the future, like heart failure. I will likely need annual cardiac ultrasounds for the rest of my life in hopes of catching changes early (and possibly put on meds to extend things). Due to the large hole in my heart, the specialist said it puts me at significant risk of a shorter lifespan—possibly around 2 to 7 years—but right now I’m happy, playful, and feeling great! I’ll need another heart ultrasound in about a year to check on things. I’m hoping to find a home that will love me just as I am and give me the cozy, joy-filled life every kitty deserves!

Now, more about ME! I’m a tiny long haired ginger who is exceptionally sweet. I had kittens while I was still a kitten myself. Now that I’m done with mom duties, I’d really love to settle down in a home of my own. I love the resident pets in my foster home, especially the dog. I’ll follow him around and playfully wrestle with him every change I get. Humans are great too, the more the merrier.  When company comes over I’m happy to meet everyone. I love to be picked up and snuggled and I’ll give little kisses if you let me. I have great litter box manners - I always use the box and bury my business thoroughly. I’d really love a home with some other animals to befriend.

I know my condition and additional costs may result in me not be everyone’s first choice, l but I truly believe my family is out there waiting for me, and I have a whole lot of love to give once we find eachother!

Can you please help me find my family, fast?

Meet Grace: Your Future Furry Best Friend 💖

Grace may start off a little shy, but once she sees you're up for a cozy night in, she'll be right beside you. She's the kind of cat who will curl up next to you and claim the best spot on the couch without a second thought. A movie marathon? Perfect. Grace is all about that quiet, snuggle time.

She’s a natural when it comes to making friends with other kitties. In fact, she’s the first to curl up and give them a smooch, and once she gets to know you, you'll be next in line for her cuddles and love.

And don’t let her chill vibe fool you; Grace is playful too! Show her a ball or put some birds on the TV, and you'll see her inner kitten come alive. Whether she's batting around toys or watching the world go by, she’s got a curious side that’s just waiting to shine.

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 1+ years (September 13, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Meet Scarlett!

Scarlett is a playful little dynamo with a big personality—she truly believes she’s the boss around here! This sweet girl LOVES playing with string toys, going absolutely wild chasing and pouncing on them. She’s also the queen of tag, always up for a game with her foster siblings, Monrow and Zowee. When it comes to mealtime, Scarlett is chatty and lets everyone know it, especially in the morning when she’s ready for breakfast.

Scarlett is one energetic cat who rarely naps—she’d rather be playing or getting some attention! She’s not shy about asking for pets, either. Sometimes, she’ll give her foster mom those irresistible, loving eyes, making it impossible for her to get any work done without a cuddle break!

Scarlett is litter trained and will thrive in a home where she can get plenty of love and attention. While she takes her time warming up to new people and cats (with a slow introduction), she’s incredibly friendly and will soon become the heart of any home.

DARLENE

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 1+ years (November 11, 2024)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Hi… I'm Darlene! 👋🐾

I had my babies on the very same day as my sister Kristina. We stayed close — very close. We shared everything… our space, our food, and most importantly, our babies. If one of us needed a rest, the other stepped in. Our kittens grew up surrounded by double the love, and they’re all healthy and happy because we worked together. ❤️

But now?

Now it’s my turn.😻

I’m a calm, gentle girl. I don’t need to be the loudest in the room. I just quietly bring a peaceful kind of love. I adore neck scratches — if you find that perfect spot, I’ll lean right into your hand and close my big soulful eyes. Soft pets make me feel safe.

I’m learning how to play just for me. Wand toys are very exciting (I can’t resist the fluttering string), and that little red laser dot? I will absolutely chase it. And chirp at it!

I’m discovering that life isn’t only about taking care of others — it can be about having fun, too.

I grew up around lots of other cats, so I understand them well. I’d be happy to have a feline friend. Dogs… I’m still deciding about them. I’m trying, though. My foster is helping me feel braver every day.

I love my food (a lady must keep her strength up), and tube treats are truly one of life’s greatest joys.

My litter box manners are great!

I’ve done my job as a momma. I’ve given my love, my warmth, and my heart to my babies. Now I’m ready for someone to give that kind of love to me.

If you have a quiet home, gentle hands, and room in your heart for a soft gentle girl who just wants to belong… I'm waiting for you!

Hi my name is Tails, I’m a smart, cuddly, gentle little girl who loves pets! I came into rescue quite scared so when I go to my new home, I may need a little patience to adjust. But not to worry, once I trust a person, they get so much love from me.

I’m a fun-loving girl who enjoys playing with toys, especially my pipe cleaner. I love treat tubes and will sit nicely for nail trims. I’m really good at bonding with other kitties and am able to respect cats that need a bit of space. But I really do love having a friend to play with, so I hope there is another playful kitty in my forever home. If you’re looking for a companion to cheer on the Jets, get your computer work done or soak up the sun, I’m your girl.

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

🐝 MEET BEE — THE GENTLE SWEETHEART LOOKING FOR HER FOREVER HIVE 💛

If you’re searching for a tender, soft-souled companion with a quiet charm, Bee might just be your perfect match. This lovely girl has the sweetest temperament and a heart that wins people over in the softest ways.

🌼 What Makes Bee Special

• Exceptionally gentle — despite being very frightened when she first arrived, Bee has never bitten or scratched.

• Soft-as-clouds fur and impeccable hygiene.

• Wonderful litter box manners — tidy and consistent.

• Polite eater — she shares food beautifully and never pushes in.

• Purr machine — she loves love and purrs easily and often

🌙 Her Personality

Bee starts off shy and skittish, so she’ll thrive with a family willing to give her a slow, patient introduction to her new home. She tends to spend most of the day tucked away in a cozy hiding spot, especially while she’s still building confidence.

But don’t let that fool you — Bee comes alive in the early mornings and evenings, when she feels safe enough to come out, explore, and enjoy gentle company.

But once she feels safe? She blossoms. 🌸

She becomes cuddly, affectionate, and deeply trusting — she may even curl up as the little spoon while you sleep. It’s an honor she gives only when she feels completely at ease.

🏡 Bee Would Love…

A calm, loving home where she can open up at her own pace. If you have another gentle kitty, she’d happily be a friend.

If your heart is looking for a tender, polite, beautifully sweet companion, Bee will reward you with trust, cuddles, the softest love and loudest purrs.

FILA

ROCKY ROAD

ROCKY ROAD

Sex: Male
Approx Age: 1+ years (April 6, 2025)
Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Fila arrived and immediately decided this was his home now. Yours will be too.

He's under a year old and running at full kitten velocity into every room, up every surface, investigating every corner like there's a secret and he's about to find it. He is tireless. He is delighted. He will not be slowing down anytime soon, and honestly? Good. The world needs more creatures this enthusiastic about being alive.

Fila has a shadow setting. You move, he moves. Not because he's anxious because wherever you're going is clearly the most interesting place in the apartment right now. Folding laundry, washing dishes, existing near the bathroom at 11pm. None of these are solo activities anymore. There's always Fila. This should not work as well as it does. It completely works.

When he's ready, and he'll decide when, he folds himself into your lap, your chest, your legs, your face. Wherever you are is apparently the right place to be. He purrs like a small engine and leans into pets like you invented them. You can scoop him up mid-adventure and he'll just... let you. Confident, trusting, completely unbothered.

He's wonderful with other cats and great with kids. Chatty in the best way, he'll narrate his day if you let him, and he expects you to talk back.

A couple of things to know going in: Fila has a sensitive stomach, so he does best on a consistent diet with measured meals; he is a devoted scavenger who will eat your leftovers, your kid's leftovers, anything that smells remotely like food, and then some. He eats fast and enthusiastically, so a slow feeder and secure counters will be your best friends. His litter box manners, however, are impeccable. The boy contains multitudes.

I am baaaack… Just 2 weeks before my 1st birthday, I was adopted. I was thrilled, as I was born in care and have been more than patient waiting for my family…. Now, just days before my big day, I’ve been surrendered back. I wasn’t fully comfortable yet, and the household animals made me nervous. When my next family finds me - please be prepared that I need my own space and time to myself so I can properly adjust to my new environment and possible forever siblings.

I’m a very playful, happy, energetic boy whose very favourite thing is to be near my people and make them laugh. And by “near” I mean if it was up to me I would be velcro’d to you at all times! I love to curl up under your chin, jump into your arms (I trust you and know that you’ll catch me) and sit on your shoulder. If I don’t know where you are you might hear me chirping and calling you … but don’t feel bad if you can’t spend every waking moment of your day with me. I’m very good at keeping myself entertained too. To me the whole world is one big cat toy, but my favourites by far are those little spring toys (if you toss one for me, I’ll play fetch with you) and anything that dangles. I also recently discovered that the clear liquid that comes out of the bathroom faucet is a potential toy … if only I could catch it! And I LOVE just sitting and looking out the window at the birds, the falling leaves, and my friend Mr. Squirrel.

I have impeccable litter box manners, and I’m learning to use my scratching post (I do need a gentle reminder now and then not to scratch things I shouldn’t).

I can’t wait to find my forever home — a place where I can be your personal comedian, loyal companion, cuddle buddy, and best friend for life. Come and meet me soon, I’m waiting for you!

Sex: Female

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

🐾 Flourite tested positive for cryptosporidium in November of 2025. She has fully recovered from this illness with treatment, and her PCR tests have all come back negative. Some people choose to adopt and mix with other cats, however there is a chance of crypto lingering while the kitty is asymptomatic, which can then spread to other kitties. It is not contagious to humans or dogs. Though she is negative now, we have no way to ensure she is not still a carrier, so vets reccomended not mixing with other cats. 🐾

This will be a huge disadvantage for Flourite. Please keep in mind she is the SWEETEST girl, and has enough love to give to fill your home, even as a solo kitty! 🫶

This here is Flourite. A beautiful little black panther. Her sweet nature and playful attitude will make you fall in love quickly. She enjoys playtime with her siblings and also the resident cats. Once shes tired out from all that running and jumping she comes to her person for some cuddles. She loves head and chin scratches and will purr loudly until she falls asleep. This little lady has perfect litter manners. She loves all kinds of foods and is not picky at all. On her downtime she loves to sit on the cat tree and watch the birdies and people go by. Come meet this little girl and have your heart stolen.

HAYLEE

TINKIE WINKIE

HAYLEE

Sex: Female

Approx Age: 8+ months (August 4, 2025)

Breed: Domestic Short Hair

Hello world! 🐾

🎀 my name is Haylee 🎀

I have the loudest purrs you will ever hear! My motor starts instantly as soon as I'm touched! And I make the best biscuits ever! 🐾

My foster mom says I have so much love to give, and my playful demeanor is quite entertaining ❤️

My foster momma writes this with tears in her eyes, only because she's so proud of how far I've come. And how very special I am to her. She was a bit skeptical, but with determination and loving hands I proved her wrong! 😻

🐾 A bit about me 🐾

My mommy came into care pregnant and gave birth to me and my siblings in my current foster home. All my siblings are adopted now, and I'm the only one left.

When I started to try walk my foster mom noticed I was not walking as well as my siblings and not keeping up. She did play exercises, and helped me walk steady by holding me to build strength in my legs. When I was introduced to food, I'd face plant into it, so I was given syringe feeding to ensure I was getting enough food. Eventually I graduated to eating from a bowl on my foster moms lap so she could hold me still enough until I was satisfied and full. Using the litter box was a bit challenging because I'd fall over and needed help standing still to do my business.

I'm now eating perfectly without any help and my legs are strong, I can zoom, play, and do all the things any of my siblings could do. I do walk with my back slightly hunched, but this is normal for me, it helps me with my balance. And I'm using the litter box with absolutely no help, sometimes I still fall over, but I get right back up! 😺

My foster mom calls me her "Beautiful floppy girl." ❤️🐾

Its suspected that I have CH because I'm a bit wobbly and have slight tremors sometimes, (CH is cerebellar hypoplasia, which is a disability that affects my coordination and motor skills. Cerebellar Hypoplasia is a non-progressive neurological condition where the cerebellum part of the brain is underdeveloped. (The great news is it wont get worse over time.)

On the spectrum, my foster mom says its very low. AND it doesn't slow me down or affect my quality of life one bit, and it doesn't cause me pain. It does not affect my thoughts, needs and wants, or the love I give, or my way of asking for what I need. Actually I'm very good at asking and showing love and affection ❣️

In fact I will have the same happy healthy life as any cat without CH. I just might need some slight environmental adjustments.

🍽 Mealtime:

Im an excellent eater, I love my food, Im polite and share appropriately with my siblings. I absolutely love tube treats! If you crinkle the tube I'll come running as fast as I can! 🐾😹

🚽🧻 Toileting

Ive mastered using the litter box like a pro 🙌 and Im very tidy. A short sided litterbox is helpful for me to get in and out, at least until Im full grown.

🧶 Playtime

I absolutely love playing! Wand toys are SO fun! But for me its recommend to do low wand play, closer to the ground because I don't always land great if I jump up high to catch them. Laser always catches my eye, love chasing it, you might have to move the laser a bit slower, so I can run after it. Im actually a pretty fast runner! But for safety a slower play is likely best for me.

🌳 I love cat trees and climbing, and I'm pretty great at it. Once I've practiced climbing the big tree at my foster home I was good. I learnt my safe route up and down, but on a new tree I'd need a bit of monitoring at first. My foster mom has safe landing beds and mats just incase I slip. Once I master it, Im good, but fall mats are still recommend just in case I do slip or fall!

🏡 My Loving Home Wish

I live in a home right now with lots of cats and 2 big dogs. Im not afraid of the dogs, we've only met though a safety gate. But they don't scare me.

So a home with other pets would be fine, I love the company. But Id also be ok just being my own special self with all the attention you have to offer me.

I love cat trees, once I learned to get up I was so happy and proud to look out the window and see all the outdoor activities. So I'd love a cat tree! And lots of toys!

Small scratch posts or small ramps are helpful for me to climb onto couches, chairs, and beds, helps for me to get down.

My foster mom says I have so much love, energy and enjoyment to give. So a home that can give me as much love, energy and enjoyment back would be purrfect.

My loving home should be slightly adjusted to ensure my safety, and it wouldn't take much really.

I'd be fine with kids, but older ones that can respect my special needs, for example if I'm being held and want down, please let me down otherwise I'll jump out of arms and my landing might not be the best landing.

If you have a spot in your heart, home, bed, couch for a very special, strong willed girl I'd love for you to come meet me.

Don't let my wobbles or tremors make you think for a single moment that I can't do anything, and live a long healthy life, or be a loving cat like any other cat, because I can, and I will, I promise🤞

And how can you resist my heart shaped nose? 😻
