Havana was rescued along with her brothers just a couple months ago, so she was very scared and hissy at first.
She runs from time to time from unfamiliar noises and if you move too fast, but she has made great progress.
Havana is good with being picked up and held. She isn’t a super affectionate lap cat, but she is working on it. Havana is good with other cats, and has taken a shine to her foster brother Snuffleupagas.
Havana loves to play with springs and wands. She loves her Temu feather wand that sticks on the window. Occasionally Havana’s foster mom will take the wand off the window, much to Havana’s delight. Havana loves to jump in the air to catch the feather wand, showing off her amazing hunting skills.

Snuffleupagus has been with Tails of Freedom since he was a tiny kitten from a litter of four. He has watched his mom and 3 brothers get adopted as he patiently waits to find his forever home.

Snuffleupagus’ foster mom has seen him grow and transform into a beautiful, sweet and curious young boy.
He is very good with other cats yet still has an independent side. He also has a soft side where he loves to curl up beside his human or in the crook of their legs while they watch t.v. or drift off to sleep.

At night he likes to cuddle up on his foster mom’s bed and occasionally sneak under the covers.

Snuffleupagus is a playful boy that loves to play with plastic springs and wand toys and is known to perform the occasional zoomie. Snuffleupagus likes chasing the laser and has been known to chase light reflected off phones or watches.
His foster mom isn’t quite sure if he can read closed captioning on the t.v., but he is definitely fascinated by the words that he sees come across the screen.

Snuggleupagas does well with other cats and children. He is untested with dogs but should be fine with a slow introduction.

Mr. Oly Boy is the sweetest boy ever once he gets used to you. When he came in he was quite anxious and scared so he did take quite a lond time to get used to indoor life. He made progress everyday and is now a handsome snuggle bug. He may take awhile to get that comfortable but once he does, he'll never leave your side. He also had severe dental damage so he now only has 2 teeth and is doing so much better. And it does not slow him down when he is eating crunchies.

This sweet boy can be very particular so he needs someone willing to make the effort. He likes to eat in different spots everyday so you'll need to follow his lead. He can also be a little picky on eating so he would benefit from a variety of flavours. 

He's not the greatest with kids but if you have kids that will leave him alone he would be fine. He just may bite. He does only have 2 teeth so it wont hurt but he may scare them. He is great with other cats but he doesnt really understand boundaries so he needs slow introductions and supervision. He may be okay with a cat savvy dog but he will not hesitate to let them have it if the dog gets in his face. This sweet guy can be alot to deal with but he is so worth it. Once he likes you he will sleep with or on you every night.

Polly is a beautiful, large, Calico mama. She is the mom to Pork Chop and Mittens. If Polly had a tagline it would be “you can look, but dont touch”. 

Polly’s foster mama has been working on her socialization for a few months now and while she has made huge progress, she still doesn’t like to be touched.
You can walk by Polly. You can play with Polly. You can sit with Polly. But you cannot touch Polly without her panicking and taking off. 

Aside from that - Polly is a very sweet curious girl. A kitten at heart. She loves to play a good game of chase with her feline friends when she gets the zoomies. And so far she hasn’t met a cat toy that she didnt like!
Polly has taken an interest in the adult male cats in her foster home (dont worry - her uterus got the booterus) so perhaps a home with a male cat that she can snuggle up to would make her happy. 

Now she may not be the cuddley lap cat that everyone wants, but she has come a long way and it has been very rewarding watching her go from scared and hiding, to playing with toys and chasing her housemates. She gets along well with any cat she meets and is a wonderful, well behaved girl that would make a great addition to any household.

I’m pretty easy-going and a quick learner. I like to sleep under your bed, but I’ll come out when you call me. Don’t want to me to scratch your furniture? No problem, just show me where the scratching post is. I’m very quiet except for the occasional “mrrp mrrp” when I’m hungry, and of course my adorable kitten-sized purr. This is Ord! He is a little shy, but he is just as loving, if not more, than his siblings.

Ord needs some time adjusting to new environments and cats, but he is totally comfortable around them, if they don't prompt fighting.

He is very snuggly, and often snuggles alongside his siblings, especially Quetzal. Sometimes they huddle together against the heater when the night is cold. He is very comfortable in an environment with his siblings, and prefers for them to brave the way and for him to follow.

He enjoys being pet and snuggled, but being held is a no for now. He especially enjoys his face and head being gently scritched, but all forms of snuggles are a-ok to him!

This is a great kitten for people who have more than one confident cat who's ready to act as a guide for Ord. He is very friendly around others, but requires a little more introduction than maybe some others.

Quetzal is a very confident, beautiful little kitty. He is eager to meet a new human!

He is the only non-black/white cat in the litter, and he's a beautiful Siamese looking kitten. His big blue eyes are sure to wow!

He enjoys belly rubs and being able to sit comfortably on or near his humans. He even enjoys snuggles with his siblings! You can often find him and Ord snuggled together on a comfortable surface.

He behaves very well and hardly causes any trouble at all, very patient with food and using litterboxes well. He sometimes lingers a bit long on the heater during colder nights, but that's all for his mischief!

He doesn't mind other cats, but shys away from dogs. He doesn't hiss very often, and grows comfortable quickly if there is food and a bed.

Hello everyone my name is Paloma. If you are looking for a furever friend, I’m your girl. I’ve been in care for 368 days and am now ready to move on to work for another family.

I had a pretty rough beginning, but thanks to TFR not giving up on me, I’ve found food and medicine that work for me. I must admit I still crave other taboo foods and dine in lonely splendour apart from my housemates because I try to steal from them.

I am the tiniest girl with the silkiest fur and a tail that was broken and now has a cute floop at the end to add to my charm. I enjoy being petted or brushed, but dislike pawdicures. I love to cuddle with my cat friends and would do well with other cat company.

I do love to talk now that I have learned to meow but mostly I chirp and chortle. My favourite toys are cat wands and that elusive red dot that I’m going to catch someday. I love chasing mice on my iPad and watching my foolish brothers chase bubbles.

I am a very hardworking girl. I like to be involved in anything household related: from folding laundry, stacking the dishwasher, making beds and most definitely preparing meals. I have taken on many duties. I do security monitoring from my window perch. I greet all guests. I inspect every bag and box entering the home. I help with putting away groceries as well as ensuring all cupboards and the refrigerator are kept neat and tidy. I also provide tuck in and wake up services. 

My most important task is taking care of the humans. I’m afraid they’re not very intelligent and I have to constantly act as an escort so they don’t get lost. Alarmingly, they keep trying to drown themselves in that bathtub thing and I have to be their lifeguard.

I have met dogs and am curious about them but as yet have not gone out of my way to make friends. Little people alarm me so I would probably do better with older children. I drink from a bowl or fountain and my litter box manners are meticulous.

No shortage of loving cats at my place right now it seems. Here’s Sylveon. Another gorgeous momma cat who is now done with her mom duties and is ready to find a home and family of her own.
She enjoys being cradled like a baby and eagerly accepts kisses on her teeny nose. Not much of a cuddler, but she does like being held. She would much rather run and play than sit and stay in one place.
When she first came to me, she was a bit indifferent to toys, but once she got comfortable and had free reign, she found the toybox and chaos then ensued. The noisier the better with her it seems. She loves the crinkle sounding soft toys with catnip. Though she won’t say no to a ball with a bell.
She seems a bit moody with other cats. Not sure if its she wants to be boss, or if she plays rough, but let’s just say there is some smacking involved, at least with the older cats. I have noticed she is a bit more lenient with kittens, likely from having been a mother herself. If you’re looking to have her as a solo cat she would be perfect. If you want to introduce her to a home with another cat, please be patient and do it slowly. Ideally, a younger cat to match her energy level might be better than on older cat.
Regardless, Sylveon would make a great companion and addition to any household. Please come check her out, you won’t be disappointed

 Are you looking for a cat who is as sweet as Tiger Tail ice cream? Well look no further than Gossima. This girl is independent unless there's snacks and bedtime cuddles to be had! She takes awhile to warm up but once she does, you can pet her until your arm falls off.

Gossima is very skittish and firm with her boundaries. She is a quiet girl who needs someone who will meet her where she's at and work on building trust wuth her. But once you have that trust, it's a done deal. She's a playful girl and loves string toys and crunchy treats and food. She's overweight and will need to be on diet food until she's a healthy weight. And she is very polite in the litterbox.

Gossima is currently with two fosters and has touched noses with one of the other foster cats. Maybe a calm animal that will ignore her and let her do her thing. No young children or older children who may have difficulty giving her the space and quiet she needs. Gossima had spent an unknown amount of time on the street and deserves a quiet, calm home full of love that she can rest and thrive in.

And everyone who sees her falls in love and you will too. She's worth every penny, nickel and dime. Are you that soft landing that she's earned?

Flora is a gorgeous girl that came into care very shy and skittish. She was very scared of people and would strike out when a hand came near her.

With time and patience, she has made great progress and is coming out of her shell. She’s not yet a lap cat as she’s still learning to trust. But she now allows getting picked up, loves getting pets, rolls over for belly rubs, purrs very loudly and greets her foster mom at the door after work. She loves playing with wand toys and chasing balls and toy mice.

Flora is doing really well with her foster mom who has put a lot of time and effort with her although is still unsure of the older kids in the house. She loves the presence of other laid back cats and tolerates the large resident dog. She will need a quiet home that is willing to continue working with her. Someone who will give her time and patience to fully come out of her shell, show her the love she deserves and allow her to give love back on her terms.

Flora has great litter box manners, eats kibble and wet food mixed with water since she’s not a big drinker. She is up to date on vaccinations, dewormed and spayed.

 Please not that Flora has mild cerebellar hypoplasia which causes the occasional head tremors, eye movements and uncoordination. These symptoms are very mild and do not affect her quality of life or life expectancy.

Mandalay came to me really afraid and shy. As the weeks have gone by she’s been blossoming into such a funny girl who loves to zoom around the apartment and play with catnip toys. She enjoys the company of other cats and has gained confidence from having a cat companion. Sitting by the window watching birds and people walk by is one of her hobbies and if you can why not brush her shiny black fur while she’s bird watching, she enjoys that. She loves to be around people whether your in the living room or bedroom she’ll be there watching you from a few feet away. She’s a very curious kitty but also still quite shy and will need someone who is patient and willing to work building trust.

Edgur is a very friendly, beautiful adult male cat. He's a cool cat 😎 with two different coloured eyes.

Edgur loves being petted and giving gentle headbutts. He will be excited to see you and likes to talk to you with chirping or quiet meows. He will become more vocal if he can hear you but can't be near you, or it's getting close to feeding time.

Once relaxed, Edgur will sit on your lap, lie next to you, or, his most favourite is to lie across your chest for a snuggle. He will let you pick him up but doesn't like to be held for too long and will wriggle away.

Edgur enjoys playing with toys on his own but it's also very fun to spend time with him using a wand toy.

Edgur loves his wet food and will get excited at feeding time, becoming quite vocal. He will also graze on dry food during the day. He is mostly good at litter box manners, but he would do best to have a litter box on each floor and remove items that may cause confusion (i.e. small suitcase).

Edgur is untested with kids or dogs, but likes our older teen. He is curious about our cat. Our sweet Mr. Limpy is looking for a very special family. Could it be you?

Approximately a year ago, Limpy was seen on his fosters porch camera eating with the other neighborhood strays.
After being watched for a while it was noticed he had some sort of injury to his front paw and was limping.
After trying for quite some time, Mr. Limpy was trapped! This is how he got his name.

He was taken to the vet to get treatment for his sore paw as well as Neutered, vaccinated and dewormed.
To heal he stayed in a 2 story cage, he was not doing well, he wouldn't eat and seemed extremely unhappy and depressed and angry, no one could touch him.
So once he was healed he was released back to the porch.

Fast forward to winter, it was so cold so the foster decided to trap and keep all the strays indoor for the winter. Mr. LIMPY was 1st to be trapped and released into the fosters basement.

Limpy appeared to be a semi feral cat, he would growl and hiss if you got close to him. Eventually, after a few weeks he started rubbing up on their legs when it was food time, but couldn't pet him as he'd attack your hand, you also couldn’t walk away from him cause he'd attack your legs and feet...as time went on and he kept attacking legs and feet he was put into a very large cage where his foster would go in with him and spend time with him.

He decided he loved getting pets from her and would purr and cuddle up. He does still get over stimulated and bite(not hard) and grab (without claws) your hands. He is extremely loving and a wonderful cat, but only to one person. He will hiss growl and attack the legs of any other person.

Limpy needs a special home with one human or a couple willing to put in the work to earn Mr.Limpys love. He does well with other cats but can play rough. He is fine with little dogs if they leave him alone.
He plays with toys when he is alone, he hasn't yet played toys with his foster.

He is a big loveable Bear when he finds his person.

Secret is such a little sweetheart   a chatty girl that I think is still getting over weaning her babies. (I’ve caught her a couple times sucking on her teat- comfort I guess).

 Pinky is anything but, pink! She’s an ABOSLUTELY ADORABLE tabby girl! It’s taken her a bit to trust people and every day she’s better and better. Her and her brother Clyde love to hold onto your fingers and hands with all their might when they are giving your hands kisses.

She loves to snuggle up in the kitty cuddle puddles or on your lap and just purr like there is no tomorrow. You could never tell from her cute, grouchy face that she was actually enjoying it! But, you can sure hear those purrs! She loves playing with the other cats in the house and can hold her own when wrestling! She gets such a determined little look on her face!

Ferrari is a petite girl that was brought in to care as a new mom.
It was discovered that Ferrari had a missing foot on one of her back legs, and as she tried using the stump it would cause her discomfort and pain. After discussing options with the vet, the best pain free option to give Ferrari was to remove the leg entirely - so she is a little tripod kitty. She’s adjusted well to the missing leg and gets around just fine.

Ferrari is a sweet, loving cat that just melts into your hands when petting her. She doesn’t want the attention to stop and will let you know that she wants more. She very much loves her people.
Ferrari is a playful girl too - we have found that she loves wand toys and anything she can chase. She doesn’t let her missing leg keep her from having a blast.
She loves having a comfy bed to curl up on once she’s ready for her nap.

While in store she has been exposed to dogs. She is curious of them and watches them, but still keeps a distance. She hasn’t hissed or swatted at them.
In foster care, it was said that she doesn’t get a long well with other cats. So she may need to be the only kitty or live with cats that ignore her.

If there was a contest for fluffiest cat in the rescue Minky would surely take the win.

Minky is a very elegant lady, with a beautiful looong tabby coat. She has a large build but short little legs, kinda resembling a little bobcat or pallas cat! She does a wonderful job at grooming herself and maintaining her gorgeous fur. She hasn’t had any issues with hairballs.

Unfortunately Minky is still very scared of humans. After a month of being in my care she has finally started to enjoy her daily pets and chin scratches. She still takes off hiding when she hears footsteps approaching but I think she just needs a home that can continously work with her at her own pace. She has never scratched or biten, she truly doesnt have a mean bone in her body, shes just a bit nervous.

I’d love to see her go to a calm household. A home where she can be the only cat is preferable, because I’ve found that she is more playful and confident when she is on her own. But she would do just fine in a household with another cat as well. A calm/quieter home is the most important thing for this girl.

When she is comfortable, Minky loves to bat around toys and carry them around in her mouth! Balls, bells, springs, even socks.
She is a very good eater, but will only eat when the humans arent around. At night when the house is asleep, Minky likes to come out of hiding and check the place out, bat around a toy or two, eat some of the resident cats kibble. Maybe even take a nap on the couch. She’ll sneak back to her bed by morning and you’d never even know she was out.

Overall she is a very sweet, well behaved, healthy cat. She just needs an understanding owner that’ll be patient with her while she continues to learn that the world isnt so scary.

Tabasco is a brave little guy whose really come out of his shell. Once a very timid little kitty, Tabasco has learned to not run away when he sees his foster mom. He does still run from time to time and is learning that the hand reaching out to touch him isn’t as scary as he once thought. With time and patience Tabasco will become the confident young boy he’s meant to be.
Tabasco loves to sit on the cat tree with his sisters. He loves to chase his calico foster sister and wrestle with her. He usually doesn’t end up on the winning side, but his foster sister is always sure to give him a good grooming afterwards. Sometimes against his will!
Tabasco isn’t a lap cat but he will sit at your feet on the couch or you can sometimes find him at the foot of your bed at bedtime.
Tabasco is good with other cats, he is good with kids that don’t move too quickly, but should learn in time that they’re ok to be around. Tabasco is untested with dogs but should be fine with a slow, proper introduction.

Glaze is fond of playing with plastic springs and interactive toys, but enjoys playing more with her sister and other fosters in the house, tearing through tunnels and jumping around.
Glaze is very affectionate. She loves to sleep near your pillow and cozy up next to her fosters. She loves people as much as her sister Crueller.
Glaze likes her wet and dry food and great litter box skills.
She is good with kids, untested with dogs but should be fine with a slow introduction.

Crueller is sister to Glaze. The two girls can usually be found nestled together on a chair or a bed.
Crueller is confident, friendly and loves to play. She loves to carry things in her mouth like plastic springs and knitted balls. She also loves to play games with her humans, like hide and seek.
She also loves to jump on shoulders and cruise around the house while humans conduct their daily tasks.
Crueller purrs almost nonstop.She loves attention and affection and she is not afraid to ask for it.
At night she can be occasionally found coming to sleep under the covers with you.
Crueller is great with her other fosters as well as the 14 and 2 year old cats in her foster home.
Crueller loves wet & dry food and cat treats. She is curious about people food but never jumps on counters. Just watch your plate!
She has great litter box skills, is wonderful with kids. Not tested with dogs but should be fine with a slow introduction.

Hi my name is Prongs. I’m a beautiful and gentle 24-week-old girl who is learning that people are nice, as I came into rescue quite scared. I have been with my foster family for 8 weeks and have decided that my foster mom is trust worthy but I’m still testing the rest of the family. I’m very curious, brave, and so smart. I like to watch what the people in my house are doing, and I will ask my foster mom to pick me up so I can get a better look. 

My foster family call me Prongsy and I’m so smart that I know my name already! I have a tiny little meow that is sometimes silent, but when I purr the whole room can hear me. I love other cats so much, and I would really like my forever home to have another cat to help me build my confidence, trust people and to snuggle and play with. I have won over the resident cats at my foster home and will snuggle up to them as close as I can get, which is often on top of them. 

My favourite toy is my wand toy, which I love to drag around the house. I’m very food motivated and will happily climb on anyone’s lap for Temptations or Churru tubes. I enjoyed Christmas at my foster home and was good with the Christmas tree however I did like to find and play with the ribbons on the gifts. I’m excellent at using the litter box and having my nails cut while I enjoy a Churru tube.

Hi my name is Padfoot, but my foster family usually call me Padsy or Patty. I’m the softest, sweetest, squishy faced 24-week-old boy you will ever meet. I have a cute, tiny little meow that you will only hear when you’re preparing my food or I bring you my spring toy to play fetch. I love all of my food, both moist and dry and will do a little circle dance when you bring it to my feeding spot. 

My favourite past time activity is playing with my spring toys. I usually carry one around with me just in case I feel like playing. I like to share the fun of my springs with my people and will bring a spring to them, give soft meow, a little paw and drop it at their feet to throw for me. I am a super good spring hunter and always find my spring and bring it back to my person so we can keep playing. I also absolutely love other cats and will win them over even if they don’t love me as much as I love them. I like to sleep with other cats, usually tucked into their bellies and am even happier if they groom me to sleep. 

When I go to my forever home, I might need a little time to settle in, as I came into rescue as a scared little guy. However, I can be easily won over with Churru and Temptation treats and a good chin scratch. I have excellent litter box skills, a good boy with Christmas trees and am good at getting my nails trimmed while I eat a Churru treat.
