Animal Surrenders

Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc. is not accepting new animals at this time. We do not expect we will be able to accept any more fur babies until mid August-September of 2025. We currently have over 100 animal surrender forms submitted and we do our best to process these in order of being received. The only exception is animals that have been adopted from TFR that need to be returned. 

Per our adoption contract, anyone who has adopted from Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc. is to return their fur baby to Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc. if they can no longer keep the animal for any reason. TFR is a judgement free zone, and we understand things come up or change and how hard of a decision this is to make. We want to help you through whatever situation you are going through. Please understand that because we are full, it may take us a few weeks to make space for your return, so please reach out to us via email after you submit your surrender form. 

Our new location is currently under renovations and our foster homes are full. We are doing our best to work as quickly as possible to get our doors open. You may still submit a surrender form, but please know we are unable to help immediately and you should continue to seek out other options in the meantime. We are so sorry we are unable to help more at this time.
