Tails Of Freedom Rescue Inc. is a non profit foster based organization located in Winnipeg, MB.
Founded in 2019, Tails of Freedom Rescue Inc. saw an immediate need to save three cats from being euthanized. After rescuing Prince, Cornell, and Elvis, we provided the necessary veterinary care with the help of dedicated volunteers and the donations of many caring people. Since then, we have grown into the organization we are today that has rescued over 2300 animals and counting.
TUXEDO & BLACK CAT ADOPTION PROMO
Adoptions have slowed down which is fairly normal for summer, but without adoptions we have no space to bring in fur babies that need us and we cannot come off our intake freeze! We have been having an extra hard time finding homes for our tuxedo & black cats as of late. We will ALWAYS be bringing in more, and the more we bring in, the more the long timers get forgotten about.
For the rest of the month we will be spotlighting, reposting & pushing all black cats & tuxedos in our care! We have over 40 currently ready for adoption. If you’ve been looking for a furry friend, please consider one of our sweet babies! They deserve a home and family of their very own!
Our fees have dropped to $145.00 for kitties of any age.
We wish we could go lower, but with how much we pay for vetting, we just cannot.
The best way to help these babies find homes is by sharing this post and spreading the word!

BECOME A VOLUNTEER
There are many things that you can do as a volunteer for Tails of freedom Rescue. Listed are a few of the small tasks required regularly. You can help out whenever you are available. As a volunteer you will be added to our volunteer facebook group and when something is need to be done we will post on that group and if any volunteers are available they can let us know.
- Pick up an animal to take to the vet for a scheduled appointment
- Pick up medication, food, or animal supplies from a destination to drop off at a foster's home
- Become a volunteer home check person to inspect homes for possible fosterers or adopters
